The Struggle
( 23.5” x 27.5” ~ Original Acrylic Painting, Framed, Matted with Glass, Ready to Hang)
We have all been there. In a particular circumstance that is extremely challenging or not comfortable. In our heart of hearts, we wish that we could just take a magic wand and wave it a couple of times and Voila… It is all better. I have discovered in the struggle, that is when I am being refined, strengthened, prepared for the next stage of my development. For in the struggle on countless occassions, I am reminded of what scripture says in Hebrews 13: 5, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” These very words sustain me and energize me to endure and move forward not in my own strength or by my own volition, but with full confidence in Jesus. The more I live and victoriously experience the struggle, I understand that this battle is not mine. It is the Lord’s. Amen.
