I enjoy creating and sharing my love of art via Cut Paper Designs, Acrylic Painting, and Photography. Since Kindergarten, I knew that I loved art. As time went on, I entered logo contests, drawing competitions, and yes, I even participated and caught the talent scouts’ attention from the magazines that sponsored the “Test Your Talent” ads. Well, that gave me quite a boost when I received a drawing kit and booklets that would further help me to refine my skills. Actually, I ended up attending and studying Photography at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale because of this competition. Even though I did not receive a degree from the art institute, I did gain some wonderful knowledge which I still use today. I continued my studies and graduated with a BA in Spanish and Linguistics, became a certified teacher of all students including special needs and Gifted and Talented children. I obtained my Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling, as well as, my doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Making. My life has been rich and interesting… But if truth be told, I am happiest when I am creating and making things. Some say it takes practice, well yes, it does. But I know that my skills and talent are gifts from God. I use them just for that purpose to tell His story and share His love. I hope that you will join me on my journey as my story continues to unfold. There is always a lesson to be learned and a story to be shared.
