Divine Encounters

( 10.75” x 14” ~ Original Acrylic Painting, Framed, Matted with Glass, Ready to Hang )

1 Corinthians 2: 9 - 13, “but just as it is written,
“THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

Can you imagine directly experiencing God and He reveals His power to you? Do you recall the story of Moses and the burning bush that is not consumed by fire. The more I read God’s word, I see that God still does manifest His presence in divine ways. We may not always recognize these meetings (at the time) as direct encounters with God, but something stirs within us both emotionally and spirtually and we know that this particular experience is unique and special. It is comfort, assurance, and peace all at once. It is inexplicable, but oh so real.

I live my life on purpose. As I open God’s word I enter into that place with expectancy that God will show up and touch my mind and heart and reveal more of Himself to me. May your study time and walk with God be blessed. Amen
