Grateful and Blessed

I have really come to the fullest of realizations that life is truly a gift. I am presented each day with new opportunities, challenges, victories and defeats. It is how I handle them that makes all the difference in my world. Take this website, for instance. I had a scheduled date that I had hoped to launch it, but… that timeline came and went, as did the next tentative date. But today, I was prompted to just go for it. Is it “Perfect”? Not in the least bit. But it is, what it is meant to be ~ My website, displaying my art, my talent, my skill, my belief and my love for people and life in general.

As you gather or not this Thanksgiving season, I hope that you are able to survey your own presence and the many blessings both tangibly and relationally that flow into and out of your existence. I hope that as you reflect over the past days and years of your life, that you too, will see how blessed you have been. I hope that your heart is filled and that you sing songs of gratitude and praise. This reminds me of a little saying that I would utter to myself and my children,

“Today is the first and only of its kind.

Make the best of it, for it will never come again. “
